Our next release of Unify for GroupWise is scheduled to ship in June! There are some great new functionality features for users, as well as some new technical enhancements that will make IT administrators’ lives even easier. Here’s a preview of what’s due in the new release:

Enhancements for users:

1. No longer need individual users’ passwords for synchronization
2. Priority handling from phone system auto-updates with GroupWise message
3. Message information available for display within e-mail message, including:

• sensitivity of voicemail message
• subject of voicemail message
• recipient list of voicemail message

Technical enhancements:

• Now supports Windows Server 2008 in 64 bit mode
• GroupWise 2012 support
• Installation & updates now available via VMWare virtual image
• Support for multiple linked Unity Connection Servers
• Easier linked user search functionality
• Option to Re-cycle Subscription from Web Admin
• Automatic configuration for SSL
• Now supports up to 5,000 users per server

Donoma Unify 8.3 for GroupWise is now available.
This latest release adds the option of encryption between Donoma Unify and Novell GroupWise with the SOAP protocol.

Those clients who have purchased maintenance can request their upgrade from Donoma Support.  Those clients who need to upgrade can contact Sales for upgrade information.

There has been a product enhancement and spec update. Donoma Unify 8 for GroupWise has now been tested to support Cisco Unity Connection 8.6

Our newest release candidate code-named “Leopard” provides seamless voicemail and email integration for latest Lotus and Cisco platforms.

The team at Donoma Software is proud to announce that we are in the final development phases of our latest product (currently code-named Leopard) that will provide Cisco voicemail integration for the Lotus Notes email platform.

Leopard will make streamline voicemail messages into the user’s main email folder – the central communications launch-pad for most busy professionals.

This kind of integration has been unavailable for Cisco voicemail users since IBM ceased offering their Domino Unified Communications Services (DUCS) several years ago. Leopard will be the first to offer an integrated messaging solution for the Cisco Unity Connection voice-messaging platform at a very attractive price-point.

Users of Lotus Notes will be able to share voice messages along with other attachments as one communication; providing a more collaborative and informative way to share information from a variety of media.

Donoma Unify 7 now supports version 8 of Cisco’s Unity Connection platform.  Additionally,  Windows Server 2008 (32 bit) is now also supported.

For those clients with Unify 7 who would like to gain access to this maintenance update, please contact Tech Support to request your update.  This is available at no charge to those clients with active support agreements.

The latest update of Donoma Unify 7 for GroupWise now supports GroupWise 8 in addition to GroupWise 6.5 and 7.0.
